Widely esteemed throughout the dental industry, Schmitt is recognized for his expertise in designing products and clinical configurations for successful implementation. He also served on the team that tested and developed the quality and compliance specification standards for all dental equipment, standards that continue to guide military procurement today.

A retired U.S. Navy Dental Equipment Biomedical Technician with Fleet Marine Force training, Schmitt brings firsthand military experience and an in-depth knowledge of the distinctive conditions and requirements of government and military healthcare environments. His mastery of connecting with customers and providing practical resolutions has earned the trust and respect of service members, veterans, and purchasing teams alike.
Under Schmitt’s leadership, UGS has expanded its field operations to include a certified installation and service team, grown its warehouse and manufacturing operations, and strengthened its ability to deliver faster, smarter solutions to those we serve.
